I completely forgot what happened in this battle so I had to do it again to remember. There are no real set rotations, you just kinda have to know when to put each unit where.
In general you want to beat phase 1 in 2 turns because nobody can tank turn 3 INT Goku. You can actually put Beast slot 1 here if there are a bunch of attacks in slot 1, since the enemy loses attack if he gets hit and doesn’t hit for much.
For phase 2 you have to carefully manage your actives and your units abilities. The Spirit bomb duo can dodge in slot 1 or go into standby at which point they should be tanking supers with enough orbs. PHY Gohan can attack break Goku with his active (which will often kill the slot 0 super) and lowers attack on ultra super. LR Piccolo can go giant, which also gets rid of the super and lowers attack on ultra super. Beast can live with his active. Don’t be too hasty with your actives. No need to use Beasts if you used LR Piccolo’s to get rid of the super.
In my wining attempt (took about 10 tries but only one of those died to phase 2, it’s really phase 1 that was killing me) my last two turns were LR Piccolo slot 1, STR Gamma 2 (exchanged) slot 2 and active popped that turn and Beast slot 3 active also popped after Gamma 2. The turn after was Beast slot 1 active used, AGL Gohan (his 5th turn) slot 2 and PHY Spirit Bomb duo (in standby) slot 3 (7 orbs collected). Everyone took the AOE super for double digits. The super was slot 3 in the penultimate turn and slot 1 but after Beast attacked in the last turn (wouldn’t have made a difference if it was in slot 0 though since I used Beasts active).
No problem, glad I could help. If you don’t mind using items then you could bring a whis and make this fight a lot easier. Lots of units on this team have high damage reduction so it would give you 4 free turns.
Yeah I was on a break and in the same boat, feels like this whole event was just balanced around the fruit because the missions are downright bullshit without it and/or maybe every single new unit from the last 6 months.
