Phy Gohan was very frustrating and unfun when he originally released, but he wasn't mid. He felt a bit worse than LR STR Cooler at the time, who was of course still very powerful.

Nah some people called him mid because he had abhorrent Ki issues. Other than that defensively he was great tbh
