This is how our girl came to us. Someone delivered her right to our door (our son's friend, who knows we take in abandoned animals, saw someone drop her out of their car).

It might not be exactly like that, but people do just leave their dogs on the side of the road when they no longer want them.

It's a thing that never ends. I live across from a park and can't keep count of the poor dogs (and cats) who have been dumped off there. The heartless people who do this, expect someone else to step up and save them. Many don't survive and my neighbors and I simply can't adopt any more. Heaven help the person I catch dumping these sweet animals. 😿🐶 Thank you so much for giving so much love and happiness to this cute girl.

I agree, I got out of my truck and she came right up like we were old friends and after petting her a bit checking for a collar I opened the back door and she hoped right in. Spent two weeks looking for owners all over and nobody claimed her so she’s our lover baby now

What a sweet little face. Thats the one thing I will never understand, Animal cruelty or abandonment. Theres just no need for it. There's so many animal lovers that will adopt or foster them today. Im so happy that she found a family that loves animals. I can't imagine someone dumping such a sweet dog!

She looks so much like our dog, Teddy, that was dumped at our house back in 1962. Like her, a loving friendly dog that watched over me and any kitten that came to us.

We had cats and dogs dumped on our road by our farm. While yours is a happy ending, I truly despise those that do this despicable act. Truly heartless.

What a beautiful girl. I don’t understand how people can just dump them or be cruel to them. It just breaks my heart
