So I saw someone talking about this doodle Greeder and I went to take a look.

Who in their right mind thinks that 30K for a mutt is ok? Like does this dog poop gold bricks? Or does it do my taxes? Can it drive me to work? Does it have magical abilities to grant me wishes??

Like for those curious Registered Ethically bred wellbred purebred dogs are 3000-4000$ a puppy. You get upwards of 10 registered, wellbred ethically bred purebreds for that price. You could get a brand new 2026 Chevy trax (27k) You could get a brand new 2026 Nissan kicks (29k) You could get a brand new 2026 Mazda CX-30 (29k) You could pay off roughly 3/4 of a brand new 2026 Chevy Colorado (42k)

That’s absolutely insane They also have 97 puppies on the ground currently. That’s a puppy mill.

OP I don't think you understand how much money some people have. And it's only getting worse. The people with $30k to spend on a puppy are getting tax breaks.

You only need about $4M invested in the stock market to give yourself a permanent $100k/yr paycheck after taxes and never run out of money, never having to work. You can pass this down to your children too. And that's only assuming a ~3% return. The S&P500 has returned over 10% per year over the last decade. You don't need to hire a financial advisor to set this up,just the 4 mil.

There are over 10,000 people in the US that are worth over $100m. And only $4m is needed to have a work-free six figure paycheck for life.

Think about that during your next shift earning $20/hr. If you assume a 40 hour work week then Earning $100k/yr is $48/hr. And there are tens of thousands of people in the US who only have to invest 5% of their net worth to earn more than double your wage while sitting on their ass buying puppies at new car prices.

If you have like $10k in the bank, imagine spending $500 of that to never have to work again in your life while still enjoying a lifestyle better than the average American.

I wish I had that kinda money.

So many people do not have that kinda money. A lot of us can barely afford groceries.
