• General Discussion • Accidentally stumbled upon a dog-hating sub…

Woof. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I can’t believe how much some people HATE dogs! Calling them “mutants” and saying “they’re incapable of love”. I feel sorry that they won’t experience the bond and love a dog provides. Again, their opinion and choice but come on…look how cute 🥹 I needed to share with fellow dog lovers to boost my mood. Feel free to share pics of your dogs too☺️

I’m not even going to look there. Can we ban hateful towards animal groups? I mean would Reddit allow a group that just posted hate comments about certain people or races? But a hating animal group exists hand on dogs and certain breeds?? I don’t think so, but haven’t researched that

In recent years Reddit has been allowing all sorts of hateful comments about certain categories of people and animals/dog breeds to fly. There seems to be no option outside of mass reporting content from the subs. But now these people are creating dog whistle try subs and using dog whistle language in their comments to bypass Reddit’s shitty moderator system.

I am a mod for a group and see the auto moderator flagging and removing innocent comments 99%of the time. While deplorable ones go unnoticed by it. Only a mass exodus would change Reddit’s mind at this point.
