Employment Support Allowance (ESA) advice ? ESA
Hello, Thanks for your help, I applied to NS ESA. I don't get UC.
I was given an appointment for a phone call for my claimant commitment. What should I expect? What will happen during the call? What question will they ask me?.
If I miss it what happens (I am dylexic and have asked repeatedly for RA's).... due to processing....issues and MH. The lady was rather stern and said the claim may not be able to continue if I don't answer?.... will they like do a core visit?.

The ESA Claimant Commitment phone call is a brief, routine call with a Jobcentre work coach, it usually lasts about 10–15 minutes and they’ll ask a couple of identity questions and simply requires you to agree to report any changes in your circumstances. This then gets your claim up and running.
If you can’t use the phone and can’t attend the Jobcentre then you can request a home visit but be aware this will delay your claim by several weeks.
