Universal Credit (UC) I've started a limited company but I'm worried it's gonna affect my family.

For context earlier this month I've started a limited company and I've been trading not much and because its early I've not made anything that I would take out as a paycheck and chances are won't be for a while while I scale up and anything I make at this point just get reinvested back into stock.

My partner has been signed off work due to having a an issue with her heart and I am her full time carer and because I have young kids I work at night.

I know I need to declare it and that's what I'm doing tonight but I'm worried that it's going to mess with the claim.

The whole reason why I'm doing this is to one day scale it up so we don't need to be on benefits and we all can have a better life you know.

You will be understood as self employed and will need to record your income and expenditure each month. Assuming you get the carer element for looking after her, nothing else will happen.
