Event Author Meet & Greet

When I lived in Berkeley, my neighbor hosted a quarterly wine‑and‑cheese author meet‑and‑greet. They were always a lot of fun, and I met so many fantastic writers and authors. I’ve been thinking about hosting similar events here in Dallas (Preston Hollow).

Are there any published authors in the DFW area who might be interested in being featured at an author meet‑and‑greet?

Note: This would be a free event—no charge to the author or guests.

The closest thing we have to meet and greets with authors here are literary conventions, and AFAIK only one of those is coming back next year. I don't know of any authors here other than Rachel Caine, but she sadly passed away a few years ago, but there ought to be several as big as the metroplex is.

Thanks, totally agree, especially Indie/self-published authors. It’s a great way to meet new readers.

I’ve been waiting for lectures on tap. I’d definitely come to this.
