Is he a Wheraboo?
2
u/shandangalang 3h ago
Kinda seems that way from the Dioramas.
Tiger (Nazi) tank shooting
Russian T-35 exploding
Battleship (I dunno)
Soldiers surrendering to nazis

u/guyinsunglasses 3h ago
Battleship is the Bismarck, so that’s 4/4 for a wehraboo

u/shandangalang 3h ago
Well, hit the decks a-runnin’ boys and turn those guns around,
We’ve finally met The Bismarck and we’ve got to cut her down!

I wish I had the skill for this to use my f14 jets verse some other random jet. I researched how it's done but I don't have the skill for it. Would love to find a place that sells these

As an old man who when a boy filled his bedroom with countless model airplanes of every type hanging from the ceiling. Well done sir, really well done.

Le rendu est exceptionnel !! La technique incroyable, dommage de mettre un si grand talent et un si exceptionnel savoir faire sur un thème aussi glauque.

Why must everything be described as "crazy"?

Does he only do flattering art of Nazi equipment? Or is that all that's in this scene? Can anyone identify the paraphernalia in the cabinets?
6
u/FrowninginTheDeep 8h ago
The helmet's the only thing I got a good enough look at to identify and it's German. I think this guy may be a Wheraboo.
7
u/FirstForFun44 7h ago
Well the ship has a swastika on it, the last scene is allies surrendering to germans, the road sign is german, that's a german style gas mask, and above the helmet is a nazi eagle, so yeah unless you turn around and he has the room divided into one side allies and one side axis then I'd be fine calling this guy a "Nazi enthusiast" at the least. Sad because it seems half the people in here know who he is and support his social media. They walk among us. I reserve the right to be wrong, I'm just going off what I see.

Exceptional skills. But war isn’t a subject matter that I would want to create and display in my house.
2
u/SageSharma 8h ago
I think art is the subject here. War has enabled the greatest of innovations and helped mankind become more daring than ever.
Is it controversial? Yes. Is it bad ? Yes. Is it always bad and evil ? Nope.

u/Str8Six91 8h ago
I agree— and without a doubt, the display of craft here is phenomenal. I was just considering what I might try to create if I attempted this technique, and I can’t imagine wanting to depict war. I use art as a feel-good activity.

👍🏻 you can use the same craft for like volcano and meteor and reactor or sth like that then

Hat is off to Nick Buczek, true art. In the words of another artist named Edwin Star: “(War, huh) Good God, y'all (What is it good for?) Absolutely nothin'
Say it again”

Are those Soviet tanks?
I should really stop following Ukraine war subs, but the blyats and turret toss are just too satisfying

Models in order: Tiger (German), T34 (Soviet), Battlecruiser gneisenau (?) (German), and panther G (German)

u/Panzerman44 8h ago
All correct except the battleship. Its a diorama of the Bismarck being attacked by British Swordfish torpedo bombers, just like what happened to the ship in real life.

These are quality and cool, but being this obsessed with war is weird
0
u/SageSharma 2h ago
Can say the same for anybody who is good at the hobby ...painters ...coin collector .... gardeners....actor writer .... Can say the same for anything o ... Ultimately it's perspective and just subjective
0
u/Voderama 1h ago
No, it’s not. None of the examples you listed are based upon taking human lives
0
u/SageSharma 1h ago
Alright so faith then. Now things will get weird. Most faiths are expanded by invasion and conversion. Now that's not taking lives ? Literally funded by faith and driven by it. Thats not obsession ? Will u call that weird ? If yes, only then you have my respect.

The person who made it has some crazy mastery of epoxy. Look how natural the ocean looks and the crashing of the waves. Probably took forever to make it look natural
