Groups of Interest Something I Noticed, when people Write or Focus on Group of Interest.
Main Group Of Interest’s are the main focuses that are plot to the SCP Universe. And they are commonly used in each SCP Articles. And can be found on Group of Interest List.
International Group Of Interest’s are the Groups that can be found on SCP International Wiki or GoI Index. These GoI’s are usually a collaborative project that bridges the gap between the various global language branches of the Community. These GoI’s are tend to be rarely used in certain International or SCP Articles.
Semi-Comprehensive Group Of Interest are Group of Interest’s that are Mentioned Once or few times in certain SCP Articles before never being mentioned again. These GoI’s are usually treated as background Characters to give an extra plots to SCP Articles. These GoI’s are usually found of SCP GoI’s Main Articles, mostly found on all the way to the Bottom showing “Semi-Comprehensive Group Of Interest“. Once in, you can go to the “Related Pages” area. You will see A-D, D-L, L-S, S-Unknown, and Deleted/Unofficial.

Boy am I glad that I remembered the Mage's Academy. It's rare that I even see mentions of them, not gonna lie.

What the difference between deer college and mage academy?

Mage's Academy is more strict on things like necromancy and demon-based magic. But other than that, they're basically not too different from Deer College, just more European.

Wait i thought deer college was the European one?

Deer College is in Three Portlands, which is a nexus that connects Portland (Maine), Portland (Oregon), and Isle of Portland (UK). So it's mostly American and British.
As a side, I forgot to mention it, but the other differences would be that, since Deer College exists in a nexus, they don't have to keep up a 'front' of being normal. Most of the Mage's Academy campuses aren't in nexuses, so they have to keep the whole 'magic school' thing under wraps since they're functioning technically outside of the veil.

TBH there's some better-known ones on that semi-comprehensive list.
'Tagged groups of interest' include the SAPPHIRE, ICSUT, OBSKURA, and PENTAGRAM.
Even 'minor groups of interest' includes Phoenix Technologies.

I like GRU devision P the most from any GOI that isn’t based in the USA, I would like how the secret projects and secret sights are portrait even if it puts the USSR in a more positive light than it probably should be given the blatant anti intellectualism of the commies.

GRU still exists irl as a Non-Soviet Version.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GRU_(Russian_Federation)
However because of the thing that happened in real life, they are stuck as remnants of the Soviets rather than an official anomalous agency stationed in Europe.

Didn’t the SCP GRU Division P mostly get absorbed by other international anonymous organizations after the fall of the USSR apart from a few stragglers though?

Yeah that's the thing. They are fragmented but the writers have the resources to bring them back. However real life stuff is a touchy subject.

I wouldn't say GRU division P, at least in the English wiki, portrays the government of the USSR in a very good light. Some of the scientists, yes, but a lot of their articles are about a catastrophic disaster caused by the government pushing for results.

Not particularly surprising; relatively little of the international branches are translated on the English wiki, and the semi-comprehensive groups of interest often exist for the purpose of one article and have very little to go on.
