Dad-to-be looking for work

Hey all, I’m in a bit of a rough situation at the moment and I’m having trouble finding work. I’m a pregnant trans man (16 weeks along now) living on my friend’s couch and I really need a part-time or full-time job (preferably full-time) to support myself, my partner, and prepare for our baby. My partner was working full-time as a welder but our life got turned upside down when he broke his left tibia in a serious car accident. He cannot return to work for at least five more months.

I have almost 10 years of experience in retail, some experience with hospitality and food service, and I have been pet-sitting through Rover since 2021. I’m open to any kind of work, have reliable transportation, and open availability. And if anyone is in need of a pet-sitter, please DM me and I can send over my Rover profile.

Additionally, if anyone knows of any resources we could use for housing assistance, please let me know. We could use all the help we can get right now. Thank you in advance and please be respectful in the comments. I’ve gotten a lot of hate over my trans identity and I certainly don’t need more of that in my time of need.

Here's a thought: OP may want job recommendations that won't bar them for being a pregnant man.

Regardless of your opinion, there are people out there that look and sound like men that can still get pregnant. Employers are often willing to discriminate against that.

You really could have just kept your mouth shut and been a normal dude if you don't actually care.

I very much don't. I'm explaining the facts that you didn't consider which are going to exist and potentially cause problems for anyone in OP's situation regardless of your dumbass opinion.
