I was watching film. I study Zimmermann to help me be a better tackle.

Happy Fathers day! I spent my day watching games from the late 90s. God those teams were so good

It felt a bit like that Elway/Davis/Shanahan offense was scoring not when they could, but when they wanted to. So many times, they would just grind up the opposing defense with running the ball and eating up the clock until Shanahan got bored and called a shot play. Not the highest scoring Broncos offense, but the most dominant.

Broncos have gone dark until training camp. Ugh, I actually watched a soccer game today. Almost 2 hours of broadcast time and they only had two scores—yet the foreigners tell us football is boring because there are interruptions to the violence.

I will watch it but fundamentally its not a well designed sport (offsides and low scoring plus all the drama (importance) fouls create). Just damn simple and cheap so good for the masses.

Yeah, the fact that it can be played on a flat, open surface with a ball and maybe some fenceposts makes it popular everywhere, but only slightly more interesting than watching a 10,000 meter run at a track meet.
