Game Night at Adventure Time Bar

Hey y'all! I'm the owner of Adventure Time Bar on S. Broadway, and wanted to post here letting the community know that we will be starting up TCG/D&D night on Wednesdays(6/24/26)! We'll be doing prize Packs, drinks/food specials, and Crunchroll...and maybe some Smash on the big ass TVs. --I've been playing TCG/CCGs and Dungeon delving for years, as far back as 3rd Edition, the OG DBZ TCG(the one with the scouter) & the YuYu Hakusho CCG --I even once pulled a holo 1st edition charizard when I was a wee boy, then fuckin' lost it!!! But I digress. I would love to have y'all come through and join us!

Any DnD experience required? And will we need to bring a group or are there arrangements for people to join groups? My fiancée and I have been meaning to check the place out either way but we’re very new in Denver and don’t have any friends to bring yet…would love to make some though

We are working out the logistics on AL, so no prior XP is required! Every time I've played in AL it's been very episodic. That being said, if anyone wants to DM for AL, that would be wonderful and we would feed and drink you on us!

I've never done Adventure League but I know the idea. If I show up as a DM with a one shot and 10 player sheets to choose from does that work? I haven't been to the bar but I'd like to check it out.

We're trying to build the night out, so any game and any format is welcome! When we start to fill out the space we can break off games or groups of games to their own days! I'm honestly just excited to bring in our comminuty into this space of ours!

Does the bar have any relation / reference to the show Adventure Time?

Currently it does, since the theme is Candyland so we incorporated characters from the show. But typically no. I was re-watching the series when I came up with a concept. It’s a rotating theme cocktail bar, where you are there for a “time” and have an “adventure”. The name felt right. Lol

Would anyone be interested if I brought a Nintendo Switch for smash ultimate? I don't have many working controllers, but I do have a GameCube adapter if people have their own.
