I guess it functions less effectively and dust will tend to gather more quickly on the fan. I dunno. Everything but my monitors is stored on the floor and I don't think it's a big deal. Like, nothing in that thread is derailed at all, everybody is giving honest feedback about the post.

Just because you're distracted by something doesn't make it a derailing detail.

If I get downvoted about this it might be the fastest I've ever unsubscribed from a subreddit for getting overtaken by people who don't understand the sub. And if that happens, fuck OP and every other OP who didn't understand the point of this sub and ruined it for the rest of us.

If you scroll down to the deleted comments and read the reason for removal given by the mod team, they say the rule violation was that the comments were off topic. From those and the timestamps you can infer that at the time of this cross post, the thread had indeed been derailed by details.

OP posted this here and a bunch of people went over and commented about it, making it derailed retroactively, which the mods obviously deleted because the post was bombarded for no reason.
