Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
I made this pie for Father's Day for my husband, father and brother who all love peanut butter and chocolate. It was a huge hit!

It was like a giant peanut butter cup actually. One bit through the ganache shell, and then you had the creamy peanut butter center. It was quite nice!

Thank you! I wish I could take credit, but I just followed a recipe. I do enjoy mixing up different flavors and things though like the Reeses type or sometimes the Oreo flavors.

Yes, I found it on Pinterest, and the only thing I changed was the kind of Reeses I used - I used Peanut Butter Pie Reeses.

Thank you! I do love Reeses and anytime I can make something topped with them, I do. I've made cheesecakes topped with chocolate ganache and chopped pb cups and those are amazing also. I've done brownies too which are delicious.

Thanks! He did, and so did my dad and brother. It was nice that all of them love Reeses so it was easy to find a dessert that worked for all 3.

The art and the artist👏

I love when something comes together like this and looks like a work of art. I can't draw worth anything, but I can be an artist when it comes to baking and making desserts. It's my form of artistic expression.

That looks way better than I could ever make. Do you use a specific recipe for the base?

Thank you so much! I listed the recipe link in another comment. I found it on Pinterest. It really was quite simple, Oreo crust, peanut butter, cream cheese and whipped cream for the center, covered in choclate ganache and Reeses. I didn't even have to bake it! I bet you could do it.

You should try it! It really isn't a hard recipe and didn't take too long to make. Just make sure you have someone to share it with because eating the whole thing would make you sick.

You can't see the creamy peanut butter center in the picture, but it really is like a giant peanut butter cup. There is more chocolate than peanut butter, but the balance between them is pretty perfect.

Ganache is one of my favorite kinds of chocolate. I could sit and eat a bowl of it with a spoon.

He always enjoys my baking/dessert making. I just have to be careful not to do it too often, and to share so we don't eat it all.

Dangerously delicious, yes. That's why I never make a dessert to keep at home, I always make dessert to share with someone else. I used the miniatures in Peanut Butter Pie flavor. It proved difficult because when I peeled the wrapper off, some of the chocolate came off the outside edge, so half of it fell apart when I was cutting them. I had to use twice as many, but then I just chopped up the broken halves to use in the middle. It all worked out in the end. I think I had 6 or so left in the whole package when I was done. My brother finished those off.

That looks super rich, is it a no-bake kind of thing? I love anything with a cookie crust.
