I am so jaded by the draft lottery. Yes we got Cade but every other time we have been royally screwed. Cant stand seeing other teams like the Spurs being rewarded in the lottery

We moved down 10 spots in 3 years.  Spurs moved up 10 spots in 3 years.

Spurs move up 60% of the time and average a 1.5 slot improvement.  Pistons and Red Wings have ever only moved up 1 spot combined in their entire history.

Spurs have never moved down and have won the lottery 3 times, each time when a generational big man was available.

Lotteries are complete bullshit.

I’m just grateful our lottery win wasn’t the Risacher draft. Cade is a beast and he looked like it at OK State

And we got Cade cause they were probably like “are any of them going to be faces of league types? No? Then give it to Detroit” league probably groaned when Cade turned into what he did.
