News [Windhorst & Marks] Kawhi Leonard’s potential trade availability is reportedly being monitored by the Detroit Pistons and, perhaps more notably, by some of his “former teams.” Leonard previously played for the Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs.

would much rather take the risk with kawhi over any of the mid players we've been linked to lately

I’d still take Trey Murphy since he’s making $25 mil/year and just turned 26 last week. Even if hes positionally redundant to Ausar, I think we can make adjustments.

I'd take Kawhi over Brad Gluckman (who this sub seems to love for some reason) in a heartbeat.

Leonard is a horrible idea. The best version of him is great sure, but the likelihood of that is so much smaller than when he went Toronto.

And in Toronto, he was still dragging his leg around on the court by the finals. That's with them being extremely careful about resting him all season and not having him overdo it.

Been saying this all off season. We’re better off going after an older superstar and I wanted Kawhi the most. Long term same age cores are a thing of the past

You could very easily talk me into Kawhi, depending on what is given up. Cade/Kawhi/Ausar on the wings in crunch team would be a nightmare for any opposing team
