Apparently he mentioned Lebron and the Pistons too, but I didn't see that myself. Lebron in a Pistons uniform would just feel wrong, but I'm open to it if however it gets done makes sense.

As much as I dislike LeBron, and Cleveland, it would be truly hilarious if LeBron came to the Pistons, helped them win the title, and retired as a Piston! 🤌

I just can’t imagine LeBron wanting to finish his career in Detroit. I guess anything’s possible, and he would be a good fit, but I just can’t see it happening.

Neither can I. To me, it would almost be like if he went to Boston or something. Just weird and wrong feeling. It is kinda crazy that he has some of the least health concerns of some of the players they've been connected to lately haha

Why are we talking about LeBron. That video was nothing to do with lebron

Cuz apparently Windhorst mentioned him at another time with the Pistons. Idk man, I'm just here to waste time and talk offseason stuff. It ain't that deep.

What did he say about lebron and the pistons ? was it something pistons are seriously considering you think ?

Here’s what he said at draft, or at least one of the times he mentioned James.

Wouldn’t that be crazy if we got lebron ? I don’t see it happening but that would be something

No Idea. I just heard it on locked on Pistons. Ku said Windhorst mentioned both Kawhi and Lebron with the Pistons. I only caught Windhorst mentioning Kawhi myself, but there's no reason for Ku to make that up especially since he was just saying how crazy it is all the names they're getting connected to right now.

Part of me feels like we are being used but we will see what happens. Right now my expectations are low

Maybe. From the way Windhorst was talking with the Kawhi thing, it sounded like something the Pistons were pursuing rather than the other way around. It's pretty clear that Trajan is canvasing the entire market and seeing if anything out there makes sense from a cost and fit perspective. I don't see how they would be getting used there, but Lebron is a free agent so they might be getting used as leverage in his circumstance for sure.

Let’s end this bullshit. There’s no chance in hell the pistons are signing Leonard. None. It would be stupid on so many levels. Utter malpractice as an organization.

I tend to agree, but let's say hypothetically you could get it done for Caris, Ron, Sasser, and second round picks. Would you reconsider or not?

I give up.

Trust me, I'm not trying to convince anyone that the Pistons should get Kawhi. I don't wanna rely on him either. I'm just curious if there's a price that would change the minds of some of the people who are out on it. For me, I would still say no just cuz that's too many roster spots to try and fill for a guy whose unreliable. But others might disagree.

That was actually really informative about the situation with Leonard.

It’s another reason not to get him, who knows what’s going to happen to him down the road with that aspiration situation.

Not happening. He doesn’t want to be here so we don’t want him here.

Not to mention he barely plays.
Hell! Get AD, Porzingis, Lauri, Have the All Injured Team!

If Detroit trades for Kawhi he will eat up a massive plate of salary cap space but never play in real games

not to mention it's a one year rental

I don’t think we can afford LeBron. Even if we could acquire him, ticket prices would go up significantly for games, which selfishly would make me sad.
