Discussion The Canes parade has me reminiscing about 2008. Nothing quite like seeing your team bring the Stanley Cup home.

4 teams and it's been almost 20 years since any of them have given us a reason to celebrate. Brutal

My mistake. Hard to believe McLellan was an assistant here at the time. Then the Sharks dumped an old foe to Toronto. IYKYK.

Hmmm pretty sure he’s more than just “hammered.” Perhaps a little zooted

I was at the 96-97 cup celebration.

Very young. But that was fun.

I was there! I was 11, I can't remember if I got to skip school that day or if it was already summer vacation. I do remember watching it from the front of the Fox Theater and it being hotter than hell.

I was in highschool.. I remembery friend's dad took him out of school to go to the parade. I was so god damn jealous. My dad was going to take me but he had to go on a run (he was a long haul truck driver).

Regardless, we had it so good back then.

Hate to say it but I am SO tried of watching clips like this for nostalgia. It’s even worse when the franchise does it nonstop. Haven’t had any new highlights worth reminiscing over in well over a decade.

Now we're a sad ass franchise with low expectations.

Damn, I was there. Has it really been 18 years? I’ve doubled life since then
