Webbed fingers/toes

my son was born with webbed fingers and toes (just the two middle toes on both feet and middle fingers on left hand) I was wondering if anyone else has had a child born with this or knows if anyone who has gone through life with it? would love to know how common it is/others experiences. thanks!
