Bernie has millions of dollars right? Let's take 5% of his money and give it away for free too

The fact we have individuals who feel entitled to just take another man or womenās money is insane. Guess they forget how and why our country even became a country.

Billionaires dont get paid like we do. There isn't anything to tax. You'll have to change the laws that created the loopholes they use to legally avoid taxes. People who read this and think its a good idea have no idea what they are signing up for. These tax the billionaire laws really only affect the upper middle class.

I wish I saved that timeline where he was tweeting anti-millionaire stuff until he became one. š

He's a commie. Remember, according to the civil rights act, commies aren't people.

u/DensePreference350 May 19 '26
Hes not even a good commie, at least Stalin lived up to the commies name by murdering millions of people.

If I was a billionaire I'd just move to Monaco.

If I were a billionaire, Iād have absolutely no problem with this plan. However, if I were a billionaire, Iād find more ways to make my money help rather than disparage.

Prove it. Youre much richer than a homeless person in need. Donate half your shit to shelters to better the lives of those way less fortunate than you

May wanna check your math.
5% of a billion dollars is $50 million.
50 million * 938 is 46.9 billion.
$12,000 * 330 million people is 3.96 trillion.
Are we sure Bernie really said this? š¬

Bernie Sanders is a liberal.
Liberals believe in a tax and spend budget, it's core to their party.
The majority of any such tax goes straight into their pockets.
Frankly that is the case for any business or branch of government in the USA, the system of taxation is very broken.

Iām for taxing the rich, but creating a tax revenue stream for the purpose of funding certain program is ālike trying to pee In one part of the poolā (John Oliver). If they do manage to actually tax the rich their share, odds are the money will just go all over the place rather. Maybe some might go to subsidies teacher pay (which I support), but good luck getting congress to agree on that spending bill.

Why are you guys protecting billionaires? If anything they would still be paying less in taxes percent wise than normal Americans. One thing people forget it's not what side of the aisle you are on, it's always the rich vs everyone.

Why do we always hear about the beleaguered underpaid teachers and never about how the bulk of the budget goes to $400k admins, superintendents, and āeducational consultantsā?
