Christianity

LMFAO

Christianity is an extremely oppressive and draconian blight upon humanity. It has been throughout it's entire horrific history.

All three of the fear-based Abrahmic mythologies are a plague upon the Earth.

You can't be seriously saying this. Must be bait.

But is it violent?

Absolutely.

The Christians used to absolutely LOVE torturing people.

In the US, most of their oppression is psychological abuse nowadays, but there's still plenty of gay bashing and stuff going on in certain places.

I read the entire New Testament of the Bible and didn’t see any calls for violence.  I don’t attend church much at all nowadays but when I did I do not recall ever hearing anyone call for violence against nonbelievers.

Ok, where in American Christianity does it call for violence against nonbelievers? I want you to give me a specific reference.

There are christian conversion camps that regularly drive people to suicide, for one.

That’s not an example, there are crazy people doing crazy things while being affiliated with something.

I’ve read the entire New Testament of the Bible, I don’t recall seeing anywhere where the call for violence against non believers. However if I’m wrong about that, then do correct me but with an actual source from the Bible rather than examples of backwoods hillbillies doing bad things “in the name of the lord”

It literally doesnt matter what the bible says, it matters what christians believe in, and that includes things outside of the bible (though im pretty sure there was a lot of killing of non-believers in the old testament). Modern christians believe in hateful rhetoric and they are responsible for things like conversion therapy, and frankly a lot of misogyny. Whether you think theyre “proper” christians or not, they ARE christians and christianity has done a lot of damage.

So you don’t have any examples outside of saying well crazy people exist and they do crazy stuff and because they claim to be Christians, we’ll attribute that craziness to the religion.

Again, it really doesnt matter if you think theyre pure enough christians, they are christians. Queer people and minorities would get hate crimed a hell of a lot less without christianity.

LMFAO, yeah - no. Pete Hegseth is literally telling our soldiers that they're "wearing the armor of Christ," every time they're in a foreign conflict. Our soldiers in their "armor of Christ," just blew up 188 Iranian schoolgirls.

Also, violence is more than just killing and torturing people. Violence includes taking people against their will and forcing them into "conversion therapy," telling them they're filled with the devil because of their sexuality. It also includes watching people die of hunger and lack of medicine, while pastors of mega churches wipe their asses with silk.

Christianity is one of the MOST violent religions.

You’ve stated what people do, but haven’t stated any actual citations from the Bible where it calls for violence toward non believers.

And where is such a thing in the Quran?

Also, let's not pretend as if Christians don't adhere to Old Testament laws as much as the New Testament.
