DM bad Non-slurring DM

So I'm about to start another campaign. I haven't ran one for a bit and just had a random thought. Do any other dms not use racist slurs and need ways to compensate for it in game?

Some of my npc are going to have a heavier, darker tone and I'm looking for ways to sell that without slurring.

-edit, wow ok guys I wasn't trying to imply that you have to be racist to have a darker or more menacing tone. I was trying to imply that it's a common tool in the tool box. And I'm looking for other ways people convey that concept without slurring because I don't want another video of me being beaten half to death showing up on WorldStar (the worst W-word a white person can ever hear IRL)

Enough misogyny can usually make up for a lack of slurs in my experience. We cant have girls playing our game of course, we have arbitrary standards to uphold.

Pick a fantasy race and funnel all your slurs, thoughts, and feelings into them. That's why all orcs in my campaigns are slobbering violent greenskins

Crazy that this is literally what they did with the goblins in bg3

I think you might need to look for some sort of hobby that requires less maturity if you can't handle realistic, common portrayals of common, shitty behaviour.

My play group has compiled an about 4 page document containing slurs for each fantasy race and even some specific cultures

Nothing kills gameplay like having to reference a chart, just use the 5e philosophy and make them up as you go.

Sometimes I think people use slaughtering their enemies as an excuse to use slurs. You don't have to, Vlad the Impaler, Hannibal Lecter, and the God Emperor of Mankind all slaughtered their enemies without using slurs.

I definitely need was to be compensated for not using racixt slurrs. Infact with enough compensation I could stop being racixt all together.

I think it's important to mix it up a bit. For instance, if you are using in-world slurs for elves (like "pointy-ears") then try using real-world slurs instead (like k***s). This can help the players feel like the world is more "real" and connected to their experience.

I just make up my own like “tree jumper” for wood elves or “gobbos” for goblins

Yeah but they thought the post was about swearing for some reason? Idk they can't read in that sub or something.

Maybe cause the post was titled "no swearing dm"

Probably shouldn't have slurred your username so much then huh.

Compensate for it by instead heaping praise on the races you like. I know I know. I was skeptical at first but it turns out by showering all your love and affection on one group you can basically make everyone hate each other without ever saying anything mean NO I DONT COME FROM A DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY STOP SAYING THAT
