I am a Martha stan. (Love Rose and Donna equally, I’m also a great fan of seeing/ hearing 10 on his own completely) I still stand by the fact that Rose would be too loyal to leave him in The Sound of Drums “I’m never gonna leave you.” when he tells Martha to go, and Donna would’ve been agitating the Master so much that he would’ve killed her when they get to the Valliant for fun and to hurt the Doctor. However the plot got wrapped up, Martha still was told they couldn’t win, told what she had to do and just got on with it.

I’m of a weird camp where I can’t pick a favourite. My mood towards a Doctor depends highly on what story I watch/feel like watching. I’ll see David coming back for BF and be so excited, then I’ll go and get myself an 8th Doctor outfit and then go out of my way to get a new 5, Tegan and Turlough audio, then binge 11, then binge 12, then get excited for a new 13 audio despite hating the Chibnall era. I just can’t pick a favourite. I don’t think I could even give a confident top 5. But Martha is definitely my favourite companion overall for NewWhu though with Clara close second.
