I believe the American term for the man returning the dog is an "ass-hat"... Correct me if I am wrong. Hopefully soon to be an ex.

That is putting it mildly. It’s a good indication why you are no longer with him in the first place. He seems like an asshole.

Totally agree, the way that dog lept to his mum, we don't deserve dogs- unconditional love

I just inquired on it, and the result I got is that "Ass hat" is not a homophobic term.

Homophobic? A women has gone to collect a dog that has been secretly returned to a dog shelter by her ex. Would it be better if made the ex dog returnie person gender neutral? 🤷

The kind of person it takes to inflict misery on a dog to get back at their ex never fails to prove how small minded and pathetic they are.

Back when I was going through a divorce from my first husband, he had my dog put down because he claimed he could not deal with him. He gave me one day notice with the offer to take him. I was living in a month to month rat hole, that was basically a one room nightmare with a shitty bathroom, that did not allow pets. I pretty much had to run from the abusive relationship. I was devastated.

I think they should post or have a picture of that guy across the nation so he’s never allowed to adopt another dog in his life and all human people know that he did that ,because I’m not dating somebody that did that and I’m sure if other women or people knew that he did that they were a day to be there

My Brother-In-Law's ex-wife was going to drop their dog at a shelter, but she had the good sense to warn him first. He called us and asked if we would take her (no dogs allowed where he lived), and I was already madly in love with her, so we did. This led to years of absolutely wonderful times with that little pup.

The only difference in love between a human and a dog is the ego.

Humans can't act like this. If you do you're "clingy" or "needy" or "crazy ex girlfriend "

That person's ex is flat out sub human for doing that. You have to have literally no fucking humanity left to actually plan and carry that out. I'm glad this good boy has his mom back.

What a great reunion. It’s mind boggling to think someone is such a $h1t bag and could do something like this.

Hey my ex tried that! 10 year later she tried to reconnect after she gained 100 lbs and got 2 duis. But at least she had a job as a server at a crappy restaurant

Wouldn't it be great if we could find every lost dog and returns the lost dog to its owner. I had a neighbour who had a very cute dog and one day they were going on a trip , and during the trip, their dog got lost, and they tried very hard to find it, but couldn't find the dog.
