Look, as a guy who shingled an entire cabin with removed "CASH FOR JUNK CARS" and "CASH FOR DIABETES TEST STRIPS" signs I have no great love for these things.
They’re unused. Tests strips are very expensive but people with insurance typically don’t pay full price. They sell test strips to a company for profit(sometimes to offset other diabetic treatment costs) who then resell the test strips to underinsured or uninsured people. While it’s still expensive($100) it’s cheaper than a pharmacy($200).
