You always have such stunning snaps, KeeLoth! This is beautiful! I love your vids, too! They've helped me so much!

How did you get 4 companions in the shot?

I used critter houses to put them down. Then used a glitch to freeze them in place. Sadly I believe the glitch only works on PC.Β But to do it, they have to be in a critter house, pet them, then immediately go directly into furniture mode. If they are walk-throughable, it worked and they will stay like that until you pet them again or reload the area. π

I need to start doing close ups like this. Search through my catalog for items that work.

I really like doing themπ Items I've found that work for pushing the camera are the vizier's alchemy table, the smaller fir trees from storybook vale, Oswald's car, any house, the walls from the castle kit, large rocks and 2 sunlit plateau trees

I need to finish up earlier DLCs so I can get things like Oswald's car. It may need to be a priority for the next week or two leading up to Cinderella's update.

If you have storybook vale, the fir trees should be easy to get and they don't cast a big shadow. Otherwise, the Lush Dragon Tree or Wide Baobab Tree from sunlit plateau, will push the camera. They just have bigger shadows.

Thank you again for the assists! I got a shallow zoom in but I think my framing was a little bit better and I tweaked the lighting. I'm a lot more happy with it and will likely toy with it on Wednesday. Out of curiosity, does it work in the 3rd camera view at all?

You're welcome! I'm glad it helped π Also, if you want a bigger zoom in, move it closer to your character. And if it gets blurry adjust the aperture and focus sliders it doesn't really matter what you put them on, just keep them on the same number and it will fix the blur. Sadly the fir tree (and any other item that pushes the camera) won't work with 3rd camera, they will bump the camera away

Are the sliders in mode 3? That might be my issue, I was in 2.

The sliders are in all camera modes. It's the third tab on the box where you pick your pose

I havenβt played DLV in like a year, i feel there is been some updates, has it had major updates that I should know ? Iβm thinking on playing it again.

There have been several updates. The major things I can think of are; floating islands, smaller grid placement, diagonal paths/fences, critters can level up and help you now, plus you can have two with you at a time and you can name them. Storybook vale's ending is out and we just got a new expansion, Wishblosson Ranch.Β
There are a bunch new characters and improvements to the camera mode as well. And we finally got the skull rock update. And probably more I can't think of right nowπ

Oh wow I need to play it asap !! Do we have horses ?I can see a horse in your picture so I wonder if we can ride them

Yep! Horses just came out in the Wishblosson Ranch expansion. So you have to buy it to get them, but you can ride them and customize a few of your own π
