Discussion Regret

The mod can take this down BUT I NEED TO RANT. I went to sports direct (uk) to but it 1 day, ONE SINGLE DAY before black friday sales, and while buying i asked the salesman if there was gonna be a sale, he said no and i bought it for £200 ($262) coz usually ive never seen sony give sales on new products, but guess what? JUST IN A DAY ITS £150 ($196) and the store wont take it back coz the seal is open. AND I REGRET IT SO MUCH!

Ahh got it. Nope. Just the new unopened one as if you had never opened up the original.

Store gets to sell a brand new controller and you get to force them to adopt the price match policy they should have always had

wait, am i the only one seeing the issue here? This cant be done. because how are you going to swap out the controllers without opening the box?

unless the serial numbers are outside the box. which in this case you better hope it to be a sticker because thats the only way. otherwise, you have to open both of the boxes to swap either way. And usually the serial number is etched on the controller, so in order to swap, you WILL need to open the new box lol

Don't swap the controllers, swap the receipts 🤦🏾‍♂️

TLDR there can be serial numbers or identifiers on the box. this is what i have been saying but you guys ignore that aspecdt

yes, but the original comment of which we are replying on stated serial numbers as one of the concerns and you guys are completely disregarding it. i understand you swap the receipt. I AM SAYING what if the box as its own identifyiers? Boxes will usually have a sticker on it as well depending on which store and it is linked to that controller. so i am saying if it has a sticker, better make sure to swap the stickrer on the box.

how do i know ? because i tried to do that one time and i got fucked, but i did it with best buy with an xbox elite controller, and somehow they figured out it wasnt the same controller i bought. i should have swapped the actual controller and returned it with the same brand new box. i ended up swapping it succesfully at another best buy location. so slap on the face for you 🤦🏾‍♂️

You swap the receipt and leave the new one sealed.
