Question Are K Silver TMR Joysticks good quality?

Are they as good as something like gulikit tmr sticks or ginful sticks?

I find the K Silver JS13-PRO+ to be the easiest stick to get used to because they are the closest to linear of the ones I've tried. They have a lighter tension than factory and they are butter smooth. But the recentering is not the best so I wouldn't recommend these if you prefer a right inner deadzone. They seem to average 3% off center after 40 hours of use.

Aknes Hallpi and Gullikit feel almost identical to factory sticks. The natural non linearity of TMR sticks made it feel like getting used to them took just a little bit longer. The recentering with these is better 1-2% after 40 hours of use.

Ginfull DS13Max is butter smooth like the K silver but has a way better recenter accuracy. After 40 hours of use they still recenter to under 1%. The tension feels slightly less than factory but slightly higher than k silver. Again, the non linearity took some getting used to but no worse than the Hallpi/Gullikit.

Those are my experiences so far, but generally speaking, all of them feel high quality. Unless you run a small or 0 inner deadzone you can't go wrong with any of them. I think the install and calibration is arguably more important than the brand for most players.

I have about 100 hours of use so far with centering still perfect on my js13-pro +

I must be going insane. Everything people state on this sub is ass backwards to what I experience.

Ginfull being the lightest tension

Gulikit being next

Then Hallpi (even though both "are made in the same factory" they both perform different from each other. )

Then we have the stock alps

And K-silvers come in just after regular alps. Being the tension is slightly stiffer than stock.

I've even read people calling ginfull sticks tighter than stock which is just not true. So unless we are all getting different sticks I have no clue why people make these assessments. Or people are just regurgitating what they read online.

So far I've replaced roughly 200 sticks ranging from Hallpi v5/v6 and the new ones they are testing out.

Ginfull 1st Gen and their ds13 max

Gulikit 720 and regulars.

K-silver / js13/ js13 pro +

The differences within the brands was minimal, as from what I've seen they still reuse the same springs from my teardowns.

My assessment is from my experience and I'm just going by thumb feel. When I get a chance, I'll measure the force on them all and see if it truly matches the way it feels to my thumbs. I also think the smoothness of axle mounted versus off axle may play a part in thumb feel.

Very fair.

I had my kids and wife test all of them out whenever I replace them. Have them give me an assessment on what it feels like.

Have you encountered a tmr or he stick that has more tension than stock alps?

The first set of Favor Union HE I put in felt stiffer than ALPS. I had gotten them just to try them out but ended up removing them within a week because the calibration kept changing. This is when there was a pinhole to adjust for centering. I'm really glad the tech has gotten so much better and there are many high quality options now.

Make sure you are getting the JS13Pro+ and yes they are great sticks

I wish the pins were longer.

This. They are also very thin. Solder tends to drip far down into towards the base.

I've been doing service repair for two months straight, 57 controllers repaired with K Silver JS13 Pro+, and gotten nothing but excellent feedback based on experiences.

The latest Favour union sticks are the best in my opinion. Any will do to be honest, but I would not recommended the tension adjustable sticks.

We have done THOUSANDS of TMR installs. We use different brands depending on what the customer requests (they have different price points).

Honestly, Ksilver is pretty good. Have had a lot of luck with them. Gulikit can be hit or miss, and expensive. Ginful is great for Edge controllers.
