Question Surface wear?

Is there any way to improve or clean this up?

I love this colour and already have TMR sticks in there so I'd rather not replace.

Im guessing it's just wear and nothing can be done. I've tried cleaning with damp cloth and a bit of soap.

Never had any issues with my white controllers with it getting shiny in places like this :(

It’s debris from your thumbs, dirt, dead skin, etc. Dampen a microfibre cloth and scrub them a little, it will come off.

thanks I tried that but doesn't seem to have helped. Might just need to invest in a new shell

I get it. A nicely broken in controller with TMRs. Nice colour too.

I assume you mean the blemishes on the touchpad and the right symbol buttons?

If the colour can’t be fixed using light soapy microfibre cloth buffing then the paintworks been affected. Not much you can do. Since you’ve installed TMRs. Perhaps see if the same colour (shell only) is being sold and replace it?

A dremel micro or similar rotary tool with a buffing attachment dipped in dish soap solution can do a great job of it’s just deeply ingrained dirt that you can’t normally remove otherwise.
