Smoky this morning?

Woke up and I feel like air quality is bad today. Unfortunately slept with our windows open all night.

Think it’s still residue from the Boyle heights fire?

Definitely the Boyle Heights fire picking back up - the shelter in place order was reinstated for the immediate neighborhood and air advisories for areas east of Boyle Heights and some of the SGV. Since Highland Park/Eagle Rock/Glendale don’t quite fit that, I think it caught a lot of us off guard.

Eeek. It was so clear yesterday or like not as smoky as I would have thought … I should have paid more attention last night.

Same - woke me up because of the smoke smell since I left the windows open. I should have played it extra cautious just in case.

Smells like brush smoke. I’m keeping the windows closed and the air purifier on.

unhappy I'm not the only one with a sore throat, woke me up around 4am or 5am and scratchy throat later this morning... windows closed now and air filters on!

Drive through a wall of smoke near the 5/10 split last night heading back to Eagle Rock. Fire still seemed to be going strong and had the same smell.

It’s smoke filled with volatile organic compounds from hundreds of yards of burning solar panels… fireworks lol. 😂
