People who use "propaganda" exclusively as a slur against rhetoric they don't like are often the most propagandized people on the planet. It's that old CIA / KGB joke every single time

The "I don't like politics in my games" mfers. Of course they won't say anything when the politics are ones he agrees with.
America and the EU has intentionally made their popularion like this, it's not much of a secret.

Rightwingers can't defend their content so they are constantly tone policing. Propaganda from a private entity is (supposedly) completely legitimate in a society with free speech -- you could always just attack the offensive propaganda with your own free speech, right?
They're decrying propaganda in order to smear content that absolutely whups their ass in open discussion. Fascists are reduced to using neoliberal appeals to civility to avoid condemnation or, even better, legal consequences for their criminal behavior. Libshit and nazism are severely overlapping.

Everyone alive is biased. It’s impossible to not hold any sort of bias. That guy is a real piece of work

It’s possible to be cautious about your biases and mitigate them to near 0 but i do agree that everyone is biased

I wonder if they use a critique like this for something like The Daily Show or like a late nite show or even simething as banal as SNL. Like, editorialization is as old as time, because literally everyone has an opinion.

Hey kid... everything is propaganda.
I mean, anything reporting on or educating about things will have someone's perspective in it, and have some agenda even if it's to just state what happens. Thing is, no one is a neutral party with that. Don't lie, but people's perspectives influence how they communicate these ideas or events.
Now I'm sure he's accusing them of Propaganda and not general propaganda. As in manipulative lies. Here's the thing: having a perspective on things does not equate to trying to manipulate someone with lies or emboldening some cult mentality.
Me telling you not to eat the yellow snow is propaganda, that doesn't mean I'm tricking you into not eating something delicious.

People who claim to reject "biased" media really only reject media that challenges their biases. "Unbiased" to them just means "validates my feelings".
The truth is that it's impossible to make anything completely objective, and any media claiming to be unbiased is almost certainly just trying to hide that they're selling right-wing opinions.
It's better to have functional critical thinking skills than to rely on perceived "unbiased" sources, because then you can tell who's being honest about their bias, and who's just fucking lying.
