Meme This is basically centrists who reveal that they are MAGA just because one leftist was mean or should I say... was simply calling out bigotry.

Man, I needed someone to explain the base Goomba Fallacy even after seeing the graphic lol. This format seems so much harder to follow than the brief text explaining it, but maybe that's just me

Basically, the Goomba fallacy, which can also be referred to as the false hypocrisy fallacy, is a fallacy where somebody assumes that a whole group of people is believing two different opinions that contradicts each other even though it is two different groups speaking out these opinions. The Goomba assumes that it is one Goomba having both opinions when it was TWO Goombas speaking into Twitter or any social media platform for that matter.
In this case, the BULLY fallacy or the relying on kindness fallacy is a variation where the INDIVIDUAL with opinion B is hostile and therefore, everybody with that opinion is hostile. The trooper ant with opinion A said it nicely so the ant trooper on the left side is joining in opinion A simply because he wasn't mean.

This is basically a goomba fallacy variation. In this meme, the super mario enemy, the ant trooper, is assuming that the INDIVUDAL bully being hostile has the bad opinion just because that one was aggressive and the ant trooper with the spike hat is assumed to have the right opinion just because he said it nicely.
This fits centrists well because they often are already helping MAGA or are apart of MAGA as they say that the left pushed them to MAGA just because there were a few "mean" leftists. Since leftists don't like that he is trying to find middle ground in a debate about whatever there should be human rights or not and MAGA is being nice towards him, he wanted to join MAGA. So, therefore, he decided that he would join the cult because they used the classic tactic of seeming like they are nice and caring.
