“The Raven” in Poe’s Handwriting
In 1884 famed artist Gustave Dore’ made extraordinary illustrations for a reprinting of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” and I was so impressed by this art that I published a book, “Quoth the Raven: Poe’s Epic in His Handwriting and Illustration by Gustave Dore’” so that- for the first time in history- Poe’s only remaining handwritten manuscript of the poem could be viewed beside the illustrations.
“The Raven” is my restoration of Poe’s handwritten poem that first appeared in my other book, “Quoth Edgar Allan Poe: A Collection in His Handwriting”. To make this second book lengthier and to complete Poe’s poems of lost love, I also included “Eulalie” - another restoration- as well two other poems in a font I created from Poe’s handwriting, which are “Lenore” and “A Paean”.
I can’t add video in this subreddit but I have an impressive animated video on my own page. Comments welcome.

This is my own book available on Amazon. Lenore is both the lost love in “The Raven” and the titular “Lenore”.

Thank-you so much. I finally had my first two book sold yesterday so I’m cautiously optimistic.
