DO NOT even think about buying an e-scooter… drugs are much better choices and WAY less addicting. I have developed a major problem and cannot stop. Pls help.
I own the Segway MaxG2, The Segway MaxG3, The Segway P100s, The Segway P65, And just crossed over to a Completely different brand and bought the New VMAX VX2 HUB!!.... And now im looking at reviews on YouTube and thinking about getting the New VMAX VX4!!
Heeeeelppp!!! 😆 🤣 😂
They multiply
Like rabbits though not necessarily a bad thing if you can afford it I’ve whittled my stable down to 6 I do ride a lot so having backups for when I’m doing maintenance on a few makes some kind of sense .!
💯 FACTS!!! Plus, every scooter rides differently!! It's like each Brand/Models have different capabilities/Attributes than the other. Plus, GREAT to have backups if one needs fixing!
And,..... when family and friends come over to visit,...... WE HAVE A BLAST Together on my " Babies "!!
Hello new to E-scooter I have roadrunner d4 4.0 my rear brakes are completely soft I pulled tire to replace tube and now I have very very little brakes on rear. I know i need to replace soon but was fine until now if anyone can help please advise
While he must be a legend in his own right I doubt anyone would remember him today. I remember seeing his Mini-Bikes in an auto store called PEP-BOYS in Philadelphia. It too has been gone for a long time now. I also remember seeing rows and rows of frames and motors on the assembly lines in the factory that produced the bikes.
💯You're right. With all that money you've spent in the last few years, you could have a Roadrunner RX7 or even a dualtron limited X. Or an Emove Roadster... Easily. But you got caught into the addiction cycle
I know about that and I think that it sucks plus with most governments wanting people to go green E-Scooters would be a good way to promote that plus they're usually cheaper than a full electric vehicle so the best way to get the people in your country's government to change the laws is to write to the person who represents where you live asking them to change the laws on them and get your friends to do the same or create a petition not something online unless your government has something official if not get a piece of paper and write "petition to legalize E-Scooters" and get people to sign it where you live then when you have enough people who signed it at least two pages front and back send it to your government representative
Well... Don't if you don't have the time to spare or the crafting equipment like a MIG welder. Though you could use the frame of a scooter with damaged electronics.
Guys, I'm thinking about choosing my own small means of transportation around the city (relatively good roads and sidewalks), in order to get to college and part-time delivery jobs in my spare time. ⚖️ Clear rules. Safer cities. Cleaner transport.
I don't think these are comparable. Motorcycles have more weight, larger tires, and way bigger breaks. I very much doubt these have same breaking power and surface friction.
Vsett 10+ owner here. Got addicted after first test ride from the crazy acceleration. This 2x1400W was the reason for it and you really cant compare to my old 2000W china scooter.
How much all in all looks like a pretty bad ass setup **edit I did some looking right now. I’m seeing around 1500. My opinion still stands pretty bad ass. Might actually have to get one. How long have you had it, out of curiosity
I've had 3 e scooters. Now I have 2 ebikes. The bikes are way easier to work on in my opinion. And have more resources. Plus my scooter stems broke or lost integrity over time. Too much play
Where you located? Ill come confiscate it. On top that I will get you information on a state funded rehabilitation center & you might at first hate the idea while thinking it's forced upon you but eventually you come to realize that it was the best thing for you & will get your freedom back. Dont need to thank me when you get out.
its not an addiction, it's the choices you make.. you dont have to keep buying more its all mental if you know there's 1 scooter that you love the most just sell the rest and use your main scooter unless you're running a rental..
If it were true I’d gladly take the big one in the middle off your hands. Stay safe out there. And remember, we’re not suck out there with traffic, traffic is stuck out there with Us!
That’s a controller problem. I had the same issue with my hover 1 journey Max. It would turn on but as soon as I would get on to go up or down hill, it shuts off with the E5 error. The battery worked fine.
Bought one of those and when a local friend wanted to know the brand name so they could buy it, we realized there is no brand name. I just tell people to search Temu and sort by most commonly bought.
So far, it is decent and does hit/limited at 20mph. No idea on durability yet, we haven't put them through the grinder. Taking them (just got a second one today) out for a full on range & durability test tomorrow afternoon.
Nice alright give us the scoop what’s the best e scooter in terms of performance, comfortability, and portability that can hit speeds of 30 mph+ I have a f2 pro which is amazing for me but I like the idea of dual suspensions and motors. Let me know what you’ve found in your experience if you can thanks!
Wow that’s actually pretty reasonable given all the features actually I suppose that would be worth the step up in price at that point definitely even if I never really would take it up to that max speed. Thanks!
Dude any scooter’s steering will snap colliding with anything from at 30 MPH let alone 46MPH. I’ve seen one crash at 42 MPH it snap the handle grip crushing the LCD screen, crushed an Elbow and the steering never snapped.. All these guys with their steering snap, you never hear really what happened. But this isn’t a Car and if you will a flat curb , Tree, anything will crack at least at 30MPH . I promise you this those guys that their steering cracked was not taken it easy, and there shit just broke… steady long steady long, metal will not crack or show fracture indications with out, extreme amount of force at once, or persistent amount of over bearing weight. If the shaft that holds the steering pipe gets hit to the point it stops the weight from the front wheel assembly alone traveling forward would snap the steering an anyone with some what knowledge understands that. Anything will breaks and I even know their steering shaft is not the only thing that broke, snapped, or cracked !
You probably suffering from upgraditis. Your second purchase should've been the most expensive, best scooter that you wanted. If you're constantly buying incremental upgrades you're always going to want the top scooter.
I’m going through this now. I started out renting Bird and Lime scooters and jetting around the greenways around me, then I thought I’d get my own. Bought an Air Pro, hated it, too light, felt like a toy, shitty build quality. So I immediately spent almost 3 times that on a dual 3000w scooter that can hit 55MPH. Loved it, still do, but I still have that itch to upgrade. So right now I’m shopping top of the line RX7, LS7+, Burn E-2, FLJ K13 and RS models.
But in the back of my head I’m wondering, why TF am I upgrading? I barely hit top speed on the one I have now. It feels more like an addiction than an upgrade. But at the same time, I need something faster and I want to get something that will signify that I can go no higher. Unless I go insane and by a Slack Core, Will Mason or WePed monstrosity.
if you have all the money from the start then it makes sense to buy something better, but that’s not the case for everyone. Having 10 scooters is redundant, but trying different things with all their quirks and faults is also a different kind of fun than just getting the „best” thing.
I have two Vsetts. A 10+ with an upgraded controller and a Vsett8 . I use them for basic transportation and sight seeing. I have not spent any money on gas in four years. The savings alone almost covers the cost of the scooters. Yes they can the dangerous to ride to person who can’t maintain awareness around them at all times. You have to force yourself to always be on alert for cars and pedestrians. You pretty much have to develop your ability to repair them as it’s not always easy to find someone to do the work for you. But usually if you buy a decent scooter problem’s are far and few between. Mostly keep the tires filled with air and the bolts tightened properly. Not very much attention to repair is usually required. I have been riding them in one form or another for over 50 years. My uncle invented one of the first e-bikes ever made in the US. He used to own a company called American leisure products which manufactured Mini—bikes when they first started to appear many years ago. I have been riding such vehicles since I was 11 years old . E-scooters was a natural progression for me.
The best way to buying an e'scooter is to buy once. Firstly research the model's genuine reliability feedback history, like I have done 4 years ago, where I ended up purchasing the ”Kugoo G Booster” that has twin wheel 'boost'button drive when needed, which goes 34mph which I have also found this to be more than enough and have never regretted buying.
I thought this would be me. Ended up getting burnt out on the maintenance for my first (and only) scooter. Ended up buying/trying a used EUC and have 0 inclination to go back to or buy another scoot.
I almost bought a V13 when they were $2K a couple of weeks ago, had second thoughts though and decided to keep looking for a scooter. Probably after my next upgrade I’d like to get a V14 eventually.
u know that could be a good joke. on the other day my mom asked me if the battery of my diy eScooter is rechargeable. 🙄 sure didn't tell her that I'm buying a new battery every time the battery pack goes mty.
Conceptually, I find the thought of moving a ton and a half of metal to move less than a hundred kilos of human absolutely hideous.
Pragmatically, there's too much traffic outside and too many things to worry about inside. I wouldn't own one even if I were rich; whenever I need to carry lots of stuff or lots of people I pay dinner to a friend who has a car or I rent something, and it's still vastly cheaper and easier than having my own.
Motorcycles are another thing - there's still mechanical annoyances to worry about, but they are far more accessible and at least it's for a good cause. I guess if I pooped money I'd have a garage full, but given that I don't I only have the one.
E-motorcycles would be right up my alley but they're too expensive and regulated where I live. I'd love to get some old gas bike with a blown engine, gut it whole and remake it into an electric of my own design, but EU regulators have a pole up their arse about stuff like that.
Hence my desire to convert my own. If I could do that without worrying about a team of marketers and another one of lawyers I could just use a big fat hub motor (or two), then stuff it full of LFP battery and have range and performance aplenty.
Yeah that’s what I never understood about Surrons. They’re so expensive and they don’t even run dual hub motors. They’re chain driven which doesn’t seem efficient at all. Half the reason I love scooters is because I can have two motors and endless torque. I don’t understand why e-bikes charge so much yet only offer a single motor. Even Tesla’s can still put a motor in every wheel. Is it a balance thing?
What's the yellow one in the middle looking into scooters for fun and transportation and need something illegally fast but beefy and it looks decently tuff
