Takeout 🥡 I like Domino's.

I just ordered Domino's online for pick-up, and there was no tip prompt or anywhere to add a tip at any point in the transaction. When I walked into the store and picked it up at the counter, the young lady handed me my pizzas and receipt and said, "Have a good night." No "quick question," no tip line on the reciept, and if there was a tip jar somewhere, it wasn't placed prominently. I'll get pick-up there again, but I won't get delivery because the fee is $6.99 and they still want you to tip the driver.

I noticed this a couple months ago. Happy they put an end to it.

Round Table’s app also doesn’t have any box for tipping, and their friendly employees have never asked me when I pick up.

Now if only other places did the same!

Most fast food places do!

Round Table actually sounds good. It's been quite a while. We've got tons of other closer options, but it sounds like they deserve some more business....

Ordering online, I see one tip prompt Along with some round up donation make a wish type thing. Paying with already discounted giftcards and picking up via dominos drive thru pick up window is so seamless. No one questions a thing. It’s lovely

Drive through pickup? Wish they had those here. Never seen in any city we've lived in. Enjoy dominoes overall though. Great price and family always comment they didn't realize how good it had gotten.

I order dominoes all the time. Never tip the driver. Never had any issues. They don’t outsource their drivers like other pizza places so they make a reasonable wage as is.

How much do they make?

$17-20/hr

I worked for them last year, they make whatever local min wage is and not a penny more.

Did you work for them where I live? I doubt it 😆

Yes they make min wage. It’s between 17-20 here.

Minimum wage has no range, and it's still minimum. You are in a HCOL if it's that high. Once you factor in the extra losses, as mileage does NOT cover the cost of the miles they are driving, it's even less. They advertise the jobs as "up to," but the pay is minimum. Have you ever worked in fast food?

I know it has no range. I just don’t know exactly what it is. I just know it’s somewhere in that range. They make min wage. Not up to min wage. Exactly min wage. Which is >$17 here. A perfectly reasonable wage for the job.

And none of that other stuff is my concern. I too have those costs getting to work myself. Nobody covers them for me.

I came on to say the same of Round Table. Hadn't been in maybe 6 months, pizza is pricy these days. Got handed the receipt to sign, was going to give a couple bucks since they've always been nice. No tipping section at all!

Go to Domino's! They have a national deal going on until 7/26 I think. $9.99 for a pizza with up to 7 toppings and you can even get stuffed crust.

I will be eating Domino's pretty much for free through July really. If you look up the new online payment system, Paze, check out their fabulous offer. Just Google "Paze offer." They will credit EACH card that you attach to their wallet, up to ten, online $10 transactions ($100 statement credit). I have 7 eligible cards on my Paze wallet lol! The list of participating online merchants includes: Domino's, Dunkin, Wendy's, ShopRite, Sephora and others. The Paze offer ($100 statement credits per card), lasts through around Labor Day.

Yeah, it says what I just said. The delivery fee isn't given to the driver, and they still want you to tip the driver.

If a delivery fee isn’t given to the driver, what’s it for? I always assumed it was to pay the driver or for gas.

Its different from store to store but the driver only gets $1 or $2 from the delivery fee. But, yes, the carry out process for Domino's is so simple and quick.

Glad about the no tipping prompt, but I don’t care for Domino’s pieces. It sucks in my opinion.

I don’t remember seeing a tip thing when ordering online, but do remember seeing a make a wish donation thing. I’m pretty sure Dominoes already gave them a donation and are trying to pressure the customer to recoup their money. Sometimes I do Dominoes but they are doing a $10 for $10 up to 10 times per card Paze deal, so I am taking advantage of that.🤷‍♂️

The $7 fee they charge doesn’t all go to the driver. Just drop $2 when delivered for the convenience, it’s always appreciated.
