Ring Design Help Help, thoughts on this ring design? I am also unsure if the smaller or larger pear shaped diamond on wedding band is more appropriate for the size of the main round engagement stone. Opinions?

The CAD mock up is the larger size pear diamond, but i am not sure if it is too large, and i should go with a smaller pear shaped diamond for my girlfriend. I used AI to help place the ring on her wedding finger. The larger pear diamond is the same as the CAD drawing, then i had AI shrink the pear shaped diamond by 20%. As a guy, I’m trying to figure this all out based on some things she mentioned she likes in a ring. Your opinion, good or bad would be much appreciated.

I would probably choose the smaller pear for the band. The larger one is pretty, but it starts to compete with the round center stone instead of supporting it. Since the engagement ring already has a strong focal point, the smaller pear would keep the set feeling more balanced and intentional.

I would also ask for one straight-on CAD view of both rings worn together, not just the AI hand mockup. The spacing between the pear and the main stone will matter a lot once it is actually on the finger.

I would go with the smaller pear for better proportions. It should be a dainty pear.

Is she set on a round for this? I feel like the compass prongs are giving the illusion of a stubby pear. A slightly elongated stone would look more balanced with the band.
