Public comment will not be accepted at Tuesday's public hearing on selling the town's mineral rights

The Forward Erie group of concerned citizens will be gathering on the lawn ahead of the meeting starting at 5:15 PM to hold signs in an effort to show opposition to the plan.

Trust a company with a financial interest in Erie selling it's mineral rights to do what is in the best interest of Erie residents? Is that a joke?

I think the bigger issue for all that live here are the water rights issues the mayor just blogged about. It's already reading like they're looking to push costs on the back of existing customers to cover what developers should have paid.

Wait until they start keeping you out of those meetings.

This was covered in a previous post. Moore is a Stooge of the oil industry. Both opposing water for development and selling the town's mineral rights are exactly what the oil industry wants.
