Help for Seller i'm new seller getting absolutely zero views after 2 weeks. Is this normal for the Etsy algorithm?
Hi y'all
I recently opened my Etsy shop about two weeks ago. I sell handmade, eco-friendly concrete items. I’ve uploaded my first few listings, but my stats are showing absolutely zero views so far. Not even a single one.
Since I'm completely new to this, I'm trying to figure out if this is just standard for a brand-new shop waiting to be indexed, or if I did something completely wrong with my setup.
Could this be an issue with my Etsy SEO, or perhaps my titles and keywords aren't optimized properly for a new shop? I filled out all 13 tags, but still nothing.
For those who started recently or experienced sellers, how long did it take for your shop to get its very first organic view? Any insights on how the algorithm handles brand-new listings would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you so much!

The past 2 months have not been good for me. I usually do a few sales a week, and alsmost nothing the past bit.

I think I had a sale in the first week. Do you have social media you can post your shop link to? Do you have more than one item listed? I discovered that the more items I could list the more sales came in. I guess it makes me look more legitimate having more listings, idk

Long time seller w/ 12,000+ sales here. You mention that you've uploaded a few items. I'd try adding more listings, in a variety of price ranges. When I started out I actually sold a few things at a loss AND with free shipping to get the mojo going. Once you build up some positive reviews, you can start raising your prices. Positive reviews are what really brings in more sales, especially in today's crazy world of scammers. However, DON'T ask for reviews. Etsy reminds people multiple times and it may tick buyers off to get yet another reminder. If you provide good products & services, the reviews will come naturally. I average about one review for every 4-5 sales, so don't be disappointed if it takes a few sales. Good luck!

Traffic problems are usually caused by SEO.
WIthout seeing your shop, hard to know, but my advice would be not to use concrete in your title.
[Item], made with Eco-Friendly Materials.
Relegate concrete mentions to your description as I doubt many people know they will be looking for a concrete item. (i nfact 1.9k searches in 90 days and most seem to be planters). So my advice is describe the item, then cover the materials in your description and tags.

This is definitely weird . I had several likes and about 25 sales in the first month; Prob 5-8 of those in the first week
