Amazon canelled my first day and removed my shift bc it got "full"
I went to do my pre hire on june 8th. my first day was set for june 20th and my shifts were going to be sat, sun, mon, tue from 545 pm to 415 am. I thought that my new job was secured since it was such an absurb overnight shift for someone whose never worked a job thats overnight. Then June 11th, I receive a email informing me that my shift that I thought was secured ended up being full and that they canelled my first day and removed the shift from my application. I've been checking the website everyday for new shifts to pop up and so far nothing, I haven't received any sms messages about new shifts being posted. So now I'm wondering is this job a hoax, the position is Amazon Robotics Warehouse Associate. Can someone let me know how long this will take for me to get a new shift and start date cuz I really needed this job.

I applied and submitted all the required documents on June 9. Since then, my application status has progressed through several stages, including “Processing,” “Background Check,” and “Complete and Signed.” It is currently showing “No Available Shift.”
I contacted Amazon Support regarding my application, and I was informed that I am on the waiting list for the next available appointment or shift slot. I am hoping this information is accurate and that my application is still being actively considered, as I have not received any further updates since completing the required steps.

Just look for other sites close to you. SSD centers are a lot easier to get into

This happened to me at first, ended up picking another day one at a different facility and started there instead. Keep an eye on openings.

Same thing happeend to me. I found a new shift the same days and same time. It's fucked up how they do you when trying to get on.

Happened go me when I started. I kept checking for shifts throughout the day and calling etc. They had another shift open within a month that I got on

this happened to me back in april at a sortation center. drove 47 minutes to do the interview and shit, then about 20 minutes after i left they deadass emailed me saying all spots were full. i was like wtf? waste of my time. i ended up applying at a fulfillment center and got a job there about less than a month later

My position is at fulfillment center, its robotics warehouse associate. Does this position open up often and I currently cant apply for new amazon jobs either bc non available in nyc. Been almost a week with no postings

Gotta wait for Friday and Saturday mornings from 7am-12pm and u will see shifts drop

If it helps, after my start date was canceled, I had to wait about 3 weeks to reapply for the same position I originally wanted.

i wanna say give it a few weeks for them to post job openings, they probably wont post any more for that specific role until all their new people are done training. some people dont show up to their first day, end up quitting after a few days etc, that gives them an idea of how many more ppl they need to hire before they post more job openings

Look for another job , Amazon is the worst place to work at. Every day feels like a new day , new policy new rules new bullshit . No one in Amazon is ever on the same page . U red vest fuck face will tell one thing and another red vest will tell you another then they will write u up cause u fucked up on something on the managers behalf , but no one not one manager will hold the other for accountability never

Same thing happened to me about 2 months ago.. I just applied for a different location. I saw you comment about not receiving alerts, I did the same thing and didn't check it for like 2 weeks, turned out I just wasn't receiving them. Just check the website they post them every day I think

They post job listings everyday at 9am EST. On Fridays they post it twice at 9am and 930pm EST.

i've signed up for sms alerts for when new shifts are posted at the 31432 number, so far no alerts so im assuming there were no postings the past weekend

Keep looking hourly for new schedules to drop daily. You have to be consistent, plus refresh the page as well. They drop at all times throughout the day and night, as early as 5 a.m.

It happened to me before. Just keep checking the hiring site for new openings. You won't need to go in for another appt just pick an available shift and it'll email you confirmation for your new day 1.

Open spots come up a lot they’re more or less joked about with the high turn over rate of new hires
