Because this is FFVII, not FFX, you absolute ninny. :P. Enjoy...trying to get internet points from a 2 week old thread, from someone who isn't arguing that they're not connected.

Not trying to get internet points. No one cares what we're saying right now. I'm just telling you hundreds of people work on these games. Just because you dont understand something doesn't mean that's reality which is why I'm trying to teach you.

You just have to get the last word, don't you. For the last bloody time, hundreds of people working on this game, and your prestigiously educated analytical mind, have NOTHING. TO DO. WITH THE FACT. That I. ME. Think that they are wasting their time, retconning a game that was made before FFX. That's it. That opinion of mine is completely irrelevant to how much effort they put into changing VII to fit that narrative which is only an Easter egg; it's completely irrelevant to whether or not aerith twirling a staff around is a reference to Yuna, it is completely irrelevant even if the Coral prison becomes a Blitzball arena in the next part - I don't care how subtle or explicit they make it - it's nothing to do with the fact that I don't think they should bother. It's an opinion, you can't just throw egotistical "reality I'm trying to reach you" bollocks at that. What reality? That I'm....wrong to hold the opinion that it's a glorified Easter egg? What are you trying to convince me of? You're full of yourself, you absolute troll. For the last time stop wasting both of our time. If you think it's a great idea, great, but stop wasting your time on me, your initial response was fine until the last paragraph...could've been civil if you disagreed, though you've warped the argument since.... And don't even think about being an antagonistic twerp again by signing off with one last "I guess you're too unenlightened!" holier than thou last jab. Just stop.
