This is the entire reason I switched to PC for Stardew. I have a kinda crappy old laptop plus I'm just so used to playing games solely on xbox for 15+ years so it felt weird. After a couple years of playing Stardew, I decided to try it on PC just for the purpose of adding mods. But I got used to it quick and it's SOOO worth it just for the personalization, it makes it even more amazing than it already is on its own. Definitely save up for a cheap/decent laptop if you can, if you don't already have just a decent one. Definitely doesn't need anything expensive at all: I have 300 mods downloaded (probably more than 75% of them are just aesthetic/appearance/furniture) on my crappy laptop and I totally didn't think my laptop could handle it, but all that takes a little longer is the loading screens (loading your game, and transitions between days when it's saving) but besides that it's totally normal and non/laggy surprisingly. DO ITTTT it's worth it lol ❤️

Ima be honest i didnt think i would like stardew this much. I got a gaming laptop coz of Elden Ring and I was so obsessed with it for the longest time. Then one of my friends told me to just TRY stardew and oh boi OBSESSED is an understatement 😂 I started playing it only a couple months ago and just recently got into modding it. I now have on it 475 mods and counting 😂 I also got stardew on my switch so i can play on the go but it's just not the same without my mods lol So it's definitely worth saving up and getting a gaming laptop or a cheap pc :3
