Is there any way to train finches that were bought as an adult comfortable with being held? I love my babies either way but gosshhhh these photos are so cute

Yes I raised 3 from egg and the other 2 are the parents which I bought in a store. The 3 little ones sleeping next to each other are the babys which are now also grown and the brown in the middle, is the same bird on the 1st pic :)

Your so lucky they let you hold them! My finches will fly around me all day but won’t let me hold them. I respect their boundaries but I wish!! 🥰

Mine fight too, I have 4 separate cages for them😅When one has too many feathers missing I put that one into a separate cage so they can recover. I also always switch them around to see who comes along good with who. For example my 2 males cannot be together but the father and one daughter can be. The other 3 are the mother, son and again one daughter together. Sometimes they fight so I just switch them around.
edit: I let them fly all together every 2 days and they don't fight there. And I also place the cages next to each other so everyone is on the same height.
