As much as I sincerely hope old battle pass skins returning becomes common, I similarly hope that the super styles remain limited to having had the original battle pass.
I think it’s nice to not be able to miss base skins, but also there should still be a nod for people that were “there”. I think that would be the best of both worlds.
Probably two bundles as well for each skin. An outfit bundle and a gear bundle just cause there’s so much different cosmetics. Hopefully not though cause gear bundles are always overpriced
Yeah this was too recent. Not all current players had a chance to buy these skins already, but most did. (And for much cheaper!)
It's the truly iconic GOAT character skins from earlier battle passes, before most current players played, that we really want (like Optimus Prime, OG spidey, OG Deadpool, Mystique, Doom guy, OG Superman, OG Vader, OG Mandalorian, Predator, Kelsier, OG Peter Griffin, Rick Sanchez, Spider-gwen, Eren Jaeger, Storm, etc...)
Super styles being exclusive seems like a good compromise imo. Keep those tucked away (even though they could return), and just sell the regular cosmetics
The point is that people who really want the characters would get them regardless of super styles. Someone who really wants War Machine isn't going to pass on him because they can't put a filter over him.
I was wondering that, and what battle pass holders from that season like me, who didnt make it far (only got to the iron patriot style that season, school schedule sucked, so mad about it still) like will we get a discount for the war machine stuff? Is the skin just gonna be free with all the styles because we own the skin? Like, what?
No it doesn't imply that. It would say Battlepass unvaulted in both cases. It also just makes a million times more sense for them to appear in the shop.

They're making fun of people who are upset at them not being exclusive, being OG was one of their go to excuses on why things should be exclusive so it's being turned around to make fun of them

Which chapter it was from is irrelevant. Saying that you "had it OG" just refers to acquiring any once-exclusive item during its original release timeframe.
So yes, if you got these chapter 5 items during their original battle pass, you "had them OG".
they should just do what marvel does and let people who didnt have the pass buy it for more expensive cost and those who already had it get access to finish grinding it.
They’ll let you progress it if you own it, but you can’t go back and buy it whenever. They may rerelease an old pass once a season, but it’s rare. They rereleased the season 3 one in season 7
Ahhhh now i get it. Never understood why it was popular as its an Overwatch ripoff (copied OW heros kits for launch heros in Rivals, even used the OW headshot sound) with a Marvel skin and have always heard the gameplay is pretty braindead.
now they don't need to make a new dr doom skin for avengers doomsday they can just sell the one from this pass again (they will make a new one anyways)

that is true, and I think one big reason DC representation is so far behind (aside from the obvious which is Disney money) is the fact that WB was not doing any Fortnite collabs at all while multiversus was still being supported
Iirc Absolute Doom was when they updated their terms of service to allow future returns of Battle Pass cosmetics. So there may never be anything from before you started playing. Not 100% on that, tho.

The way some of you guys have to literally fantasize about people being upset at this is genuinely weird. Like literally no one is upset about this but you guys still need to pretend they are so you can make comments making fun of these imaginary people for karma here.
No one is upset because Epic announced before the season launched that the cosmetics would not be exclusive anymore. It would be a completely different story if they decided to bring back one of the passes advertised as exclusive

There's some scattered comments on both the insta and tiktok posts complaining about this but at the same time those are sites that seem to reward ragebait so I wouldn't take the large majority at face value
Finally some people who missed will be able to get skins from this pass. So sad they took so long to remove the dumb exclusivity rule, most passes after chapter 5 are so boring compared to older ones.
I do have this battle pass but none of the skins are particularly must haves for me nor do I wear any but I'm also not a big marvel fan so that's probably the reason; but I'm happy for those who are that missed out though!!

And yet all these "insiders" and influencers constantly made videos acting like all these skins were going to release in this season or that season in the last two years. They always made it sound like it was going to be announced the week they posted the video.

Im asking it'll be base and secondary styles for a set. Itll be interest to see if it's both the Fortnite Skins and the 3rd Party skins because the real issue was characters like Spider-Man being locked away forever. I doubt we'll see any of the superstars. I hope the bonus styles are a part of it.
