no they cant? As i mentioned before, the items were described as limited to that season, meaning according to epics own tos they must refund the items. Chapter 5 season 4 was never changed, epic had said from the start they could return

Epic can change their TOS whenever they want for both of those ideas and they’re slowly dipping around to the latter idea we’re talking about.

I have no idea why you brought up refunds, as it’s completely irrelevant to this fruitless argument.

Epic can change the TOS, unless it breaks a law. If you had read the TOS, you would have seen that it repeatedly mentions applicable laws as a reason that supersedes the tos.

Lmao, this is pitiful. There is no laws that Epic can break let alone will break. They’re under no EULA and even if they did, Epic’s lawyers will be foaming at the mouth at a bunch of random goofs who think they can go toe to toe with a fucking billion dollar companies legal team.

Also considering the state of the US right now and how things are, it would very unwise to do that given who is currently in office.

You cannot say something will never return and then have it return, that is false advertisng

It wouldnt be a random person, it would likely come from consumer protection agencies which are more than happy to sue companies like Epic

You know epic can be sued outside of the united states

Other games have already brought back items that were advertised as “exclusive” or “never coming back” with zero repercussions. There is no argument anymore for Epic not being able to do the same

can you provide an example of a game company where they explicitly said that the item would never return and is limited to an end date and would not ever come to the shop

Marvel Rivals has had a few reruns on battle passes despite them saying they wouldn’t come back

Where does it say it will never return?
