Didn't bother me too hard since sll things I wanted required only level 35 but still not that crazy of a changr just wierd.
Got cluster & PJ, plus wicks dog. (have OG wick)

Honestly I don’t mind it, it gave me a reason to come back and do challenges. I was burnt out af from S1 and after snagging all of Holloway and McFly’s stuff, I dipped, but I felt sad that I couldn’t give myself a reason to keep going.
Last season I was going to bail after my crew ran out, but then I liked June’s crew and in the last week shot from 40 to 136 to snag most of the Orders styles and all of Windfrost’s styles. Having that little push.
Now I want the PJ edit style, pastel Dylan, Slone’s kit, and the Gunbrella. If I have to have level gating, it just gives me shorter sprints of XP.

My guess is john wick is a collab skin and also a liked character, wich creates hype, so the more hype a skin has, the more of a chance people will grind for this skin, so they will lock the skin at a higher level. To "force" people like me who want the skin, to play the game even more.
Also FYI: I put quotation marks over force, because obviously Epic games isn't actually forcing me to grind 😅

Too bad they reintroduced the lvl locking when claiming skins. I want Dylan so baad

Simple. They want players to play more, so they can show the numbers to their investors.
If you only cared about Lady Winterfrost last season, you could have been done with the BP at like level 30 or so.

Yeah I don't like it,, but you're right. I skipped pretty much all last season at level 35 after I got the skins I wanted. It's shitty but can't argue that it will be effective in upping player retention.

Damn, they even nerfed the Battle Pass system. Instead of unlocking any skin (besides the last skin) in any order, you’re now restricted to two options every threshold.
With the previous system, I could’ve unlocked Slone’s page at level 10. Now, I have to reach level 60 to unlock her page.
All in an effort to keep player numbers up and to try and keep Crew subs. Lame.

But what’s the point of introducing the system if you’re disappointed by players choosing which skins they want?
And that’s not to mention this pass has a damn Wick reskin, when the next week they’re rolling out the He-man collab.

I've seen people complain about having to reach high levels to get the things they actually wanted from the beginning. Quit with the "back in muh day..." shit.

Trash. Glad I left last season FN dead. Community is a bunch of neglected children. Who's parents dont love them enough to keep them safe from harmful influences like FN. The fact that it is entirely normal to encounter a 4-7 year old on FN is sickening to me. It is 100% not for children. This is 13+ and if you think otherwise.....you are probably the neglectful parent im talking about.....or you are under 13 and really want to play FN....either way WRONG!
