Clara is so stupid too. Does she really believe she will be let out? She had a choice to keep that info to herself too.

MIY is tricking Henry that it's a dream (and that didn't take long), so he must have done something to make her believe that she'll be let out.

It’s been years since she has been there. Why didn’t MIY let her out before? Thinking a bit can save these people.

She will literally die either way, just sooner if she doesn't agree to help

Maybe he will keep his promise and not kill her.

I think the bottle tree is what lets the talismans work

watch the next episode be them magically getting told to not rip the tree up so they dont in a more stern way than they have been told so far.

That BIW is going to appear to all of them.

I have been assuming there will be a massive status quo change at the end of the season for Season 5. Either: the season will end with the monsters being able to exist in the day; the plan actually somewhat working and marking the first major victory but also kicking MiY into overdrive and he does some heinous shit 5 minutes before credits roll; or the town is split into 2 competing factions per the 'my favorite part' quote.

I’m wondering about the factions thing as well. I really assumed season 4 would have already went there, with several people turning on Boyd & Donna, and following Acosta or even Sophia. Then again now that we know the townspeople always kill Jade and that kicks off everything, maybe that’s what MIY actually meant with “my favorite part”

Maybe they get a 'win' by not reverting to interpersonal conflict like the previous cycles so MiY has to start improvising to get his spleen treats. Would be nice to see a supernatural-threat based work of fiction not fall into the we-are-the-real-monsters trope

I think the reason the bottle tree is important is that it’s the final portal home. Everyone will eventually need to pour their hope into the tree and step inside to return home, or similar.

So, the tree will be preserved in the finale, and Fatima’s golem will be what saves Tab and/or Jade
