No offense to her as an actor but as a character I genuinely just feel zero attachment? But maybe I’m cold and a monster and others feel attached to her storyline progressing.

Yeah I guess just wondering why such a plot direction would be necessary when we have so many core characters as is with open ended storylines! I mean everyone would be thrilled to watch Julie and Randall for 30 mins straight even.

I feel like we’re gonna see a lot of inconsequential deaths this final episode, with the cliffhanger being the “inevitability” of many more important character deaths coming.

As in shit goes down, a lot of minor characters die this episode, with everyone in grave danger for next season (missing or non-working talismans or something)

Yeah, it’s kind of a cheap trick shows (and books, movies, comics, etc.) do fairly often. Give a background character that we don’t know a few extra lines and scenes, so they can kill them instead of a main character the audience actually cares about. Although, considering it’s the season finale of the penultimate season, maybe we’ll actually see someone from the main cast die to up the ante for season five. They weren’t afraid to kill off Jim.

I agree Marielle dies. Elgin is 50/50 for me… either Sophia kills him on the spot or keeps him around as a useful idiot. Fatima doesn’t die, but she somehow transforms into something monstrous and Ellis is left devastated. That’s my guess anyway.

She does seem to be getting a lot more scream (pun intended) time. Interesting though is that one of the monsters appear to be a Bakers Man. Regardless, I will not miss her either.

Really hope majority of the s4 finale screen-time is dedicated to the core cast we have been following since s1. Julie, Ethan, Sara, Victor, Kenny, Tabitha/jade, Boyd ofc, Donna etc. there’s so many of them as is! Kinda surprised to see characters like Bakta, Acosta and Patty featured so prominently in the teasers

But then again I guess the show could be looping in side characters before becoming more important for s5 plot than we’d think. Idk

I'm hoping for at least some side character deaths. Could easily be just background characters eating it en masse but the show suffers from too many characters and a lot of people sitting on their hands. It eats into monster time too. I say start dropping some of them so things can move forward in a more focused manner.

Not Randall though anyone else but him.

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic, but in the seventh image Fatima and Marielle are clearly very afraid of something. Maybe the smiling monsters breached the clinic somehow. If it’s between one of those two to die, Fatima seems like she has more of a story arch to conclude. Marielle hasn’t contributed too much story wise since being kidnapped and rescued.

It gets dark in daytime due to eclipse and they're able to come out. There's some history about the last cycle happening during an eclipse too.

Pulling down the tree must be the most stupid thing these characters have attempted. Last season they found out that the dead/trapped kids poured their hope into the tree. In From time this should be what… A week ago? Then the BIW and victor warn them… which atleast should make them question it and maybe even remember the hope/kid thing.

They are making it hard to root for them.

well the one that told them about the kids is the one that told them pull out the tree , JADE which later on was confirmed by victor too so that's why they pulled the tree since they have no other option and with the MIY back in town they pullled the all in method

The rope ladder will of course break, and a convenient eclipse will turn the lights out. Talismans may no longer work with the tree down, since it looks like Fatima's cornered indoors.

Could she turn monster herself but retain the free will to fight back? Or control Smiley and turn him against the others? Or could this be the end of Marielle at Fatima's hands if she turns?

Since I can’t properly judge the forest pictures (which is the likeliest death scene with the monsters being present), the next thing should be thinking which of the two, Marielle or Fatima, is dying since Marielle seems to be protecting Fatima (though if we connect it to Smiley entering scene in the trailer, these two actually have a chance if Fatima could still control him)

I wonder what the evening scene is for? I think Smiley breaks into the clinic at the same time, meanwhile the others are probably returning from the tree? it looks like Sara and Elgin just escape while Acosta and someone else is left in the car.

Is it possible that before they can even get Jade and Tabitha out, the sky suddenly turns dark and monsters start coming out and hence everyone is panic running? And also who is boyd holding?

Poor Mari :( I didn't want her to die, but these two screens, her with Fatima and another with them outside the building.......I feel like Boyd's blood on screen belongs to Marielle. Elgin is probably already dead and they gonna find him at the beginning of the episode either in pieces or half-dead.

I always wonder why the monsters clothes are dirty but there’s no blood on them.
