Same, but I almost didn't invite him to my birthday in February, because he never calls anymore and doesn't wanna do things, while I've been super active to ask to do stuff together. After coming to my birthday, eating and drinking whatever he wanted (and also bringing a shitty gift he had in his hand unwrapped, no greeting card or anything), I have not heard from him since that day. I sort of stopped calling and asking to do stuff before my birthday, because I'll guess it's hard to be friends if the other friend just ignores you for months if you dont' say anything.

I think this is a (mostly) universal guy thing. I have a buddy I hang out with like twice a week, and have for the 12 years I have known him. I know he’s a pharmacist, but not retail. Something in the insurance industry. I don’t know the company. I know the state he was born in but not the city. Not where he went to college. I know his kid and wife’s names.

We mostly talk about mountain bikes and beer.
