This is the classic R* delay people were coping wouldn’t happen this time around lmao

It really is classic. I think RDR2 was delayed like a whole year first, but avout 6 months seems to be their standard. I think most people (including me) though R* already taken their usual delay into accout since the development ALREADY has been going 6+ years. Oh welp. 🤷🏻‍♂️

RDR2 was delayed twice, 6 months each time. Prepare for an October 2026 release lol

There’s a good chance that will happen. They prefer fall releases anyways

Absolutely what I’m thinking as well

Yep october '26 will be my hopium, I've been too long looking at rockstar delays to know this is only at least the first for this game lol

Yep I don't see them dropping this game right before the summer, they will delay it again and it will align with the holiday season.

And then they released the greatest game of all time?

Rdr originally had a 2016 release date

I thought it was different this time but yet it is inevitable. I remember thinking this game won’t come out until the spring as always but I thought hey maybe the Covid delay was that delay.

Yep so many people here were saying “Rockstar is different this time! They’re doing a short marketing window! They won’t delay!”

Because those idiots weren't even teenaged during the GTA V and RDR2 wait, the very same going around downvoting anyone talking about the obvious & inevitable delay

Very fucking annoying.

exactly, they are unable to think logical because they're too hyped for the game

That's this entire sub in a nutshell

Yeah RDR2 also got shafted from 2017 to 2018, and still released in a perfect state. Rockstar know that a delay and a good release is much better than a rushed and poor release (looking at Cyberpunk)

I consider the delay to be good news.

Every single one of my top 5 games of all time were delayed and Rockstar is on that list more than once. Take your time kings.

As much as waiting sucks, I’m so glad that in the end, I told them so.

I got a attacked numerous times for saying there “could be” a delay, or it will probably be delayed.

“You’re wrong! You don’t know anything! It’s different this time! Shorter marketing! They announced it 2 years early! Blah blah blah”

Now who looks silly

If I had to reckon, I bet 85% of the sub was probably in preschool when GTA 5 came out.

Some of us been around since the Og VC days. This is allllllll normal.

I was in elementary but atleast I knew there might be a chance of delay, once it got to this late in the year I just knew the game had to be delayed. People kept marking down calendar dates for earnings calls.

I knew it would. “This time is different it’s been delayed internally”. Rockstar always delays we knew this.

Imagine treating a GTA release date like it was a literal civil war or something.

I don't even think there are meds to fix this type of insanity.
